drink more, talk less
Friday, Sept. 17, 2004 @ 12:34 p.m.

out for a drink with my co-workers last night, i realized that i shouldn't mock at hamilton as much as i do. for some stupid reason, people take pride in their hometowns--pride i see as irrelevant considering the decision as to where you live for your formative years is never your own. they take pride, nevertheless. and when you're proud of something, even if it's the shittiest something in the wide world, you don't want to be told it's anything but the best.

luckily i hadn't said anything bad about hamilton: at the time of my realization i was jabbering about cities in a general sense. and appeased the co-workers by telling them i'm country folk with less appreciation for this here fas' paced enviro'ment.

i talk too much. and it makes me an idiot.
