afraid enough to stay away. from here, from this.
a change of location, a new paradigm, an overdue elegy to an unfamiliar place. cut the million miles to millionths and found my happiness lives in my past. reflected in the daylight shining on winter hills. concealing itself in the yellow-green shadow of a forest at spring. in all my childhood memories. my new life is a positive refraction of the life i had when i was here before. a quiet step in the right direction. light ahead. a warm place.
