I paid a visit to the Embassy of the United States of America in Ottawa. It's designed like a reverse maximum security penitentiary.

Getting in is completely hopeless.

Getting out is completely hopeless.

There are spiked rail fences, trained, armed, shifty-eyed US soldiers, and kilos of electric wire wrapped around the roof.

Amy and I crossed the road, bought bright flowers and had Craig take our picture in front of the embassy. Now in the picture, at least it'll look pretty.

Would electric wire zap SARS?
